24-Hour Tennisathon - 15-16 June 2024

Calling all tennis nuts!  On 15 and 16 June, Jim Biggie and James Buddell will lead a 24-hour tennis-a-thon at North Elmham Tennis Club. The event is open to all members, friends and family, and the community.

All money raised will go towards the Club’s award-winning inclusive tennis programme, and also the restoration of St. Bartholomew’s Church in Brisley.

Don’t worry! Jim and James aren’t expecting anyone to join them for the entire 24 hours — although anyone who likes the idea, please do get in touch!

Come along, play tennis for however long you can spare — one hour, two hours, or five hours... — between 12 noon on 15 June and 12 noon on 16 June. Book Your Spot/Time

All members, friends and family, and members of the community can play! Three hours of coaching for all ages and abilities are scheduled from 2-5pm on 15 June with Jim and James, and Jim will lead cardio tennis from 9-10am on 16 June.

The suggested donation to participate is £10 for adults and £5 for children via a JustGiving page. A card reader will be available on the weekend, or if people prefer to pay by cash, charity buckets will be available.

There will be food and refreshments at a small cost on Saturday afternoon/evening via a barbeque, with meat and vegetarian options. On 16 June, bacon rolls will be offered as part of a Fathers’ Day special.
